I study special education.
Why do I need your data?
I am conducting a survey for my thesis.
I will use your answers only for this purpose.
The results will be used in my thesis.
No one will know what you answered.
What data am I asking for?
I am asking about your age.
You can tell me more if you wish to:

- Whether you have a disability
- How much money you spend on video games
- Whether you are male, female, or something else
- Whether you are a member of a group
I do not ask for anything that would make you directly identifiable.
That means I won't know who you are.
What is the legal basis?
I can only use your data if you allow it.
You give me your consent at the beginning of the survey.
You can say at any time: I don't want to participate anymore.
There are no disadvantages for you.
What happens to your data?
I store your data securely.
After my thesis is finished, I will delete or completely anonymize the data.
I don't store your IP address.
What are your rights?

Who helps me with the survey?
I use the survey software LimeSurvey. LimeSurvey complies with privacy rules.

No. No cookies are used.
And your internet activity is not tracked.
Do you have to participate in the survey?
No.
You do not have to participate.
You can stop at any time.
Or you can skip individual questions.
Only a few questions must be answered.

2. Purpose of Data Collection:
The data collected through this questionnaire will be used exclusively for my master's thesis. The results will be published in an anonymized and aggregated form.
3. What Data is Collected?
The following data categories are collected: - Age - Optional: - Disability, - Share of household expenses, - Gender, - Membership in communities. No personal data will be collected that would enable direct identification.
4. Legal Basis for Processing:
Processing your data is based on your voluntary consent (Art. 6 Abs. 1 lit. a DSGVO). You can revoke this consent at any time without disadvantage.
5. Storage and Deletion of Data:
The collected data will be securely stored and deleted or anonymized according to legal retention periods after the completion of the master's thesis. Your IP address will not be stored.
6. Rights of Data Subjects:
- You can request confirmation as to whether personal data concerning you is being processed by me (according to Art. 15 DSGVO).
- You can request information from me at any time about your data and the circumstances of its processing (according to Art. 15 DSGVO).
- You can request the correction and completion of the data processed by me (according to Art. 16 DSGVO).
- You can request the deletion of your personal data if there is no justification or obligation for storage (any longer) for processing (according to Art. 17 DSGVO).
- You can request the restriction of processing in the cases defined by law under Art. 18 DSGVO.
- You can request the release of your data in a common, structured, and machine-readable format (right to data portability) (according to Art. 20 DSGVO).
7. Data Processors:
The survey is conducted using LimeSurvey. This tool adheres to the DSGVO.
8. Cookies and Tracking:
No cookies and tracking are used.
9. Voluntariness of Participation:
Participation in the survey is voluntary. You can interrupt your participation at any time without providing reasons or skip individual questions except for mandatory ones.
